So I bought 2 bleaching kits, a dark blonde (number 61 revlon), and deep conditoning. I have the bleach on my hair right now...just one bottle. I am wondering if I should use the other bleach or get a toner? If I get a toner...where do I get it? Someone told me a violet toner, but i have no idea what i'm looking for nor where to get it. I don't want my hair to stay with an orange tinge so help me soon please :)

If the dark blonde is more then 2 shades lighter than your natural hair color (which it probably is since you're going from dark brown to blonde) then it's not going to work. The stuff from boxes of hair color will only lift up to two shades. I wouldn't do it twice because you will screw up your hair. Just make an emergency hair appt. tomorrow. If you can't afford a hairdresser then go to a beauty school. You're not going to be able to fix this yourself.

Did the same damn thing when I was 16. No one told me about the 2 shade rule. I DID bleach it twice myself and about 1/3 of it broke off.
