Although the lotus is not very pretty, it is much more dramatic. If you live in the U.S. it is also considered somewhat exotic. Depending on the generation, it also has a very good power/weight ratio. It is well known worldwide as being one of the best handling cars ever. It is very small and feels like a race car while you are driving one. Since it is a relatively rare car, you would probably get lots of questions about it from men and women alike. It is obviously made of top quality materials as most British cars are nowadays. Since it is a lotus, it also has decades or racing heritage also. Given its Toyota engine, it is also extremely reliable.

I have to say i dont really like either that much aesthetically but I would get a lotus if it were given to me and sell it for an audi and keep the rest lol.
I really love Audi's and I can imagine how fast and fun the TT must be, but I really can't imagine myself in a Lotus.

Actually a lot of people in CA have Lotus' and they look really funny on the road. They don't even look that cool... so I'd have to go with the TT in a 6 speed!

Actually the Lotus uses a Toyota engine, which is incredibly reliable. However, it depends what you want. The Lotus is a track ready car with a race suspension, while the TT is more of a cruiser. Looks wise I would take the Lotus, or wait for the 2010 TT RS.

I think the Lotus Elise is better looking. It isn't that attractive, but it is really unique looking and you rarely see them on the road in the US.

An Audi TT would probably be a more reliable choice.
